Online Tajweed

Tajweed is defined as Articulating every letter from it's articulation point and giving the letter it's rights and dues of it's characteristics.  Getting the knowledge of Tajweed is Fardh Kifayah, it means that some of the Muslim community must know it, and it's application is Fardh 'Ain', which means that it's required by every Muslim (Man or Woman) who have complete Quran or part of it memorized, even if some surahs of Quran.  Due to vastness of Arabic language, any small mistake can lead to change in the meaning .When asked about the meaning of Tarteel, Ali (Radhiallaahu Anhu) replied, 'It means that the Qur'an should be recited with Tajweed and with due observance to the rules of Waqf (pausing or stopping at the end of the verse).' Tajweed is a subject unlike other subjects can not be separated from Quran. Tajweed and the holy Quran both word hand in hand.

Some people read the holy Quran so much but because they don't know the correct pronunciation of letters , they change change the letters which leads to change in words which eventually going to change in sentences and meaning of Quran.

The knowledge of Tajweed is based on four aspects

• Knowledge of Articulation point of letters

• Knowledge of characteristics of the letter.

• Knowledge of what rules change in the letters due to the order of letters

• Exercising the tongue and it's repetition.
